My travels through Europe and Africa have remained a strong influence on my philosophy that art must communicate on a visceral and intellectual level with the viewer. My early classical dance training taught me how the use of subtle nuances in posture and angles can express inner struggles and dialogues. For emphasis, the African artist uses exaggeration of form. Along with these strong influences and my experiences working in bronze foundries, I have gained successful techniques to reach the viewer.
I have won awards in over 25 museum and juried exhibitions, as well as commissions and encouragement from my collectors. With these validations and many positive professional reviews, I continue my life as a full-time sculptor whose work expresses our universal emotions.

I use art to "express the psychological core of our human drama." My work is easily accessible, allowing viewer's their own personal and intimate connection.
